The importance of a business card

New business cards
Your business card is the second most memorable thing about you – you being the first obviously. It needs to make a great impression – a lasting impression – since this is marketing material in your wallet.

A few years ago, I decide to create my own logo, design my business card and upload it to an online print company. Being a small business (i.e. tight budget) I used VistaPrint and have to say, that at the time, I thought the business cards they produced for me looked great!

I’m currently updating my marketing material and website and my business cards were looking dated. Upon reflection, they looked cheap. The card stock was thin, colours seemed flaccid and overall “finish” (i.e. no finish) was dull.

So this time round, I used MOO. Awesome, awesome cards! Well I think so anyway. Card stock is waaaay thicker. Colours are vibrant. Cards are coated in an outstanding matte finish. Looks aside, the feel of the card is substantial in your hand – memorable even.

Compared to the VistaPrint card, the MOO card has way less flex due to its weight. Take a look at MOO. They have some great card options. Highly recommended!
